Loved the massive jacuzzi bathroom and beautiful location. Breakfast could be improved slightly.

Beautiful ambience on an old country estate with a beautiful park.
The service in the restaurant was unfortunately a bit bumpy. The "greeting from the kitchen" came after one hour.

An extraordinarily beautiful, pleasant hotel, situated in a beautiful landscape. Everything was right, we would have liked to have stayed longer.
There's nothing to criticize.

The grounds are fine, perfect for a long stroll, and the decor of the room was elegant. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially with quick service during breakfast. The bathtub in our initial room was rusty, surprising for the price point. While the breakfast was decent, it didn't quite meet expectations for a luxury setting.

We greatly enjoyed an amazing location just off the stately nature of the property, a historical palace and the Grange opera. The staff were very attentive and friendly attentive and knew their area. The breakfast was extensive and the parking was onsite.

Very nice room in the main building with park view, very good restaurant. Helpful staff
When the house was full, the breakfast service was overwhelmed. Pretty hard to find.

Very nice large rooms, luxurious bathroom, beautiful hotel complex in old Manor house and huge garden.
A more generous breakfast buffet would be good, with fresh bread and fruit and ham and egg also for those who choose the continental breakfast

The Avenue restaurant was superb, the bar staff excellent and ambience good.
We were upgraded which was appreciated but the furnishings were tired and basic.

My wife and I were celebrating our first wedding anniversary at Lainston House, having had a magical wedding celebration there. They remembered us and upgraded us to a suite. The room was amazing: large with a great four-poster bed, espresso machine, Jacuzzi and lovely wood panelling and shutters. The quality of food and wine at The Avenue was top notch. The staff there were very attentive. I also made use of their gym and we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. All in all, it was a wonderful visit.

My Wife has always wanted to experience Lainston House and we weren't disappointed by anything. Right from walking up to the wonderful entrance through to the view of the house as we left, the whole experience can only be described as wonderful. Great staff, fantastic location, wonderful food. Everything that we thought it would be and more. A great start to the holiday season. Thank you.

Attention to detail and facilities in bedrooms and overall quality of restaurant and bar . Excellent cuisine and service - discreet but attentive. No canned muzak in public areas.
There is little to complain about but such pampering and luxury comes at a price, so expect restaurant and bar prices to reflect this. One minor niggle - it would have been good to have a choice of complimentary newspaper. The Independent would be few guests' first choice I suspect.
